Hi Guys,

Here's a time lapse photography session done with AVEC GPS connected
to a GPS via serial port, and the PSP Go Cam via USB at the same time.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrahMeju7bY

The video is produced by saving one photo frame for every map screen image capture,
and saving them one after the other. Then I used an AVISynth script in Windows
to crop the images and stack the odd images vertically,
and Virtual Dub to produce a WMV video for upload.

Cheers, Art.

Hi,
The user mode should work on the slim, but then you'd need the PSP290 GPS.

Yes you can convert maps for any country.
Garmin maps are available everywhere.
Look at the readme.

Yes. They release versions don't support the camera though.
That was done just for a demo.

img file maps are correct, they are converted to mp with GPSmapedit.
Look at the readme in AVEC.

I have downloaded it, and will try to have the problem fixed for V6.
It seems to happen only for maps of whole countries.
You could probably have a more detailed map of a smaller area.

Meanwhile, that map should work with AVEC in mp format, just slower.
It does in V6.
When you load it, just press the square button at the screen that asks you to convert it.

so the map will be converted in the psp itself?? to mpi format sir?

not likely if the PC converter doesn't work.
AVEC is compatible with mp files as well, they just draw a lot slower.
Select the file with the cross button, then press square.

dear sir . may be there is a bug or something as i notice , everytime when i press triangle , it brings up a menu , n when i turn the gps state on n off , it will hang the entire program. causing my psp to shutdown by itself

this only happnes when i change the gps mode to on n off
