You ruined my Compatibility List....Better fix that to what it was (speed and playable).

Speed and Playability is useless
for speed:
We all know roms are going to be slow..

Playability may be put back in later who knows

i liked $n!pR's list better seeing as though it had speed

DPyro

Ya, actually some games are faster than others. And who knows, maybe in PSmonkeys next release we could see 2x speed of what it is now.

Like i said it could be re added later. Speed is not an issue now.

ATM i am focusing more on compatibility.

I can refer to screenshots later and get speed back in the list. No big deal

Like I said, leave it the way it was!

So you dont want screenshots ? eh?

lol

I will put in the comments if the game is fast enough to play. No point having a section where 98% of the roms will be slow anyhow. Might be put back in, in the future. This is really to test if they are playable or not.

I got Pokemon Snap running but its too much effort (press X about 200 times) and nothing really speciall apart from the N64 logo is outputted.. then it starts going REALLY slow
Will post a screen later for those Pokemon snappers. But PLEASE i beg you, dont try it its useless

Fastest rom would have to be Quest64 ATM

I have to review quite a few roms as i didnt have the microcode list.

The arcade goes in game but its rather sluggish

There is still a lot of work to be done but this will be sufficient for now.

Wally, what firmware are you on? I have been unable to get Quest64 running at all. When I try to load the rom the memstick light comes on for a second then the PSP freezes and shuts down after a few more seconds.

It makes no difference which microcode is set.
I've succesfully run mario64 and a couple of other roms on Monkey64 and I wouldn't have been particularly bothered exept that everyone keeps saying Quest64 runs faster and more accurately than most other roms.

The rom itself is fine as I've succesfully run it on Daedalus.
The exact version and type is: Quest64 (U)[!].z64

I'm on FW 2.00 using eloader 0.97 tiff exploit.
My memstick has over 60mb space on there so I don't think it's a memory problem
Any clues as to what might be putting a spanner in the works?

Zilch zip nada.

I've reinstalled and tried both versions (1.5 and 1.0/2.0). It always does the same thing. I've just tested 'Bust a move arcade edition' and 'Bomberman hero' both of which use the same microcode and are in the same file format (.z64). They both worked and the Quest64 rom is still ok as I tested it again in Daedalus.

It's a real puzzler eh?

according to maxconsole.net hes managed to get 17-20 fps on quest now, so its only a matter of time before there is fully working roms
