This app, is freakn' awsome! It's fast as hell, and a pretty good interface (You have to get used to the typing)

It just has a problem going onto forums (i.e.: It doesn't allow u to log in)

This is a really great APP for the PSP. Especially 1.50 users. Sure the typing takes a little getting used to but is it really that much more awkward than the PSP's text input method? Not really. And I kind of like this better.

Thanks for the release.

May 15th, 2006, 03:21
^ If this didn't work on 1.50, then i don't know why they would bother making it...

I'm gonna try this on 1.00, guess i'm gonna have to psp brew it?
The bigger problem is not knowing anywhere i can use wifi tho

UPDATE: No problems running on fw 1.00 offline, havent found anywhere to try online yet.

mog,
then how do u know if it works or not on 1.0. and how many ppl still have 1.0 psps u still have homebrew on 1.5 and u have the new firmeware features sure if i had 2 psps a 1.0 and a fully updated one i would keep it 1.0 cause homebrew is easier no kxploit if u only have the 1.0 eboot.

I have a 1.0 and a 1.5. What he's saying is that it loads on 1.0 fine (which, if it does, then it should have no problems connecting).

Tomorrow I'll test it out fully on 1.0 and tell you if it can get online without a hitch(I assume it will).

Does any else have problems with being disconected from the internet a lot? Whenever i stay on one page for a long time ( reading a long news item for example) i am disconnected once i want to load a new page. I constantly have to press Cross plus select ( or start, w.e.). Is it just my wifi connection ( usually 80-100%) or is it the app? It has happened to me since the beginning.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Now that bookmarks can be saved, this just got 100 times better.

To the guys above with the disconnect issues. Have you turned off your WLAN power save mode in the PSPs options?

this browser is nearing perfection. but in my eye's, i have high standards, the day that it gets flash and java is the day that it is perfect. it will happen someday.

Squidman
May 15th, 2006, 22:19
The day that it can log onto forums along with having flash, java, then it will be the ultimate web browser! (That's portable)

I think it's because it can't save cookies....or does it?

Well, i didn't find anywhere to try wifi out today... maybe i live near too many farms and stuff... I should try walking around town with psp.

Glad to hear other 1.00s have it working fine though. :)

I get the same problem disconnecting. I have a Linksys wireless router(if the router is the cause).

I personally, think its the program, because I don't get these problems using the PSPRadio plugin version(but get memory problems, so I don't like using it).

Is there any way to speed up saving to the memory stick? Downloading is fast, but saving to the memory stick is very slow. Is there also a way to enable you to choose where you want to save the file to?

Do you also plan on implementing connection choice?

May 16th, 2006, 04:43
yes! now i don't have to go from 1.50 to 2.00 all the time (its starting to get really annoying)

No idea mate. I just assumed that it would save the battery power by timing out after 10 mins (or whatever it is set to) of no activity?

Wassup guys? I have used all of the previous Links2 browsers but this one is definitely the best. However, since I moved from the PSPRadio browser to this standalone form whenever I start the browser I get a 'Error loading http://pspradio.berlios.de/Links2/App_Links2.html:connection refused'
I know I have connected though and I can surf fine once I go to file and go to a bookmark but on the PSPRadio browser it went straight to the homepage.Am I alone or am I doing something wrong.Thanks.

Yeah, That's been happening to me too. Out of the 20 or so times ive loaded it since getting it, i only remember getting the default webpage once. So yeah, the homepage does appear, just not most of the time. All the other times is that error.
