Sony has announced a Converter Cable Adaptor for PSPgo that allows existing PSP peripherals, like the 1Seg Tuner and GPS Receiver, to be used.

Despite the Cable title, however, this piece of kit has a plastic frame that clips around the PSPgo and turns the shape from compact to clunky. The pictures mention that the design is a prototype, and subject to change. Quick, complain.

There's no word on price nor date yet, but we expect those to be clarified soon.

If it's still prototype must mean Sony rushing to get this thing made when they realise no-one wants Psp go.

It still doesn't have a UMD driver...
