Over at these forums

VL-Tone is creating a Mario 64 editor, you can recreate levels and maybe even import new models and textures.

However over at http://www.emutalk.net/forumdisplay.php?f=110

The texture thing works by using a plugin that will extract the game textures in a normal folder then you also have a hi-def texture folder in which you can edit the textures to make them look nicer and then 1964 will grab them instead via the plugin.

They have been texture hacking for a while now with 1964 with high def looking textures lol. It is quite amazing, but my question is this PSMonkey do you expect you'll be able to support these features later on?

In the future I plan on it. Including trying to do some cell shading hacks.

When he's ready he'll inform us of his progress. Until then, take your time PSMonkey there's no rush.

It would be awsome to have this feature for every game because you maybe could add or remove texures to help speed up the emulation( especally for the psp)

The OoT High-Res Cell shaded mod was so COOL. It would pretty cool to use that on the psp.

highres textures = more memory usage

Then just buy a new mem card... Or download the other not high res version...

He means psp memory usage (psp has 32mb ram), not the memory stick...
