Sonic Battle Arena is a game which features Sonic Charactars written in Lua and being coded by TheMarioKarters, PSPHax0r9, Vaza, and Popcorn Devil (http://teamsba.wind.prohosting.com/). Graphics are done by Skinticket, Vaza, and madsoul.

The game is a 2-D Sonic Fighting game coded in LUA
This game was made from scratch, not a mod of an existing game

Heres whats done in this release:

Sonic is fully done!
Tails engine is fully done!
Knuckles engine is fully done!
Enemy AI is partially done!
Initial release level is done!

Please add the E-100 series(It's just one character recolored to make 5). The second form of E-105 Alpha(?) wouldn't work, but the second form of E-101 Beta would.
Also add Metal Sonic, Mecha Sonic(if possible, you'd need to make the sprites), Puppet Tails and Mecha Knuckles.

So what's the "Secret" in this "Edition"... I'm donloading it right now. Looks good too, guys. I hope this plays better than SmashGP....That homebrew deserves a much needed update.

foget that...do what is similar in the SMASHGP and put a whole host of characters such as Mario, the master chief, FF characters etc...It wud need a tital change but what a game it wud be...

...Fantastic job this is really great and deserves 1st place

Yeah. I sat you should add Mario, Crash Bandicoot,
Gex, Megaman, ect. That would be sweet.

WOW Looks great.

So this will be like a more polished version of a game like SmashGPSP or Mario War with better graphics and stuff?

If all the menus and start up pages are also smoothened, cleaned up and polished a bit and everything is full screen, then this could easily join the ranks of Quake and Beats of Rage among the best of the best.

Is there any chance at all that infrastructure online play support could be made available for this game someday, similar to what Quake does.
