UK customers have been reporting that they received their copies of Windows 7 in the mail today. Currently the British postal service is threatening industrial action over pay, and planned walkouts may result in Windows 7 not being delivered on its release date. It is understood that Microsoft has agreed to let some retailers send out copies early to avoid disappointment, and to make the UK the first country in the world to have Windows 7 in customers' hands.

I checked on Amazon UK and I see my full copy of Windows 7 Ultimate was dispatched 12am last night. Hopefully it'll reach my doorstep in time. Also as I pre-ordered in advance, the price tag was £150 instead of the current £170 (and normal selling price will be £230 later).

What the...? Two Ultimate copies for £70 each? Are they full install versions? If so, that's ace. Aww, I wish I knew about earlier but £150 is at least better than £230. Hell, I remember when Vista Ultimate first came out and it was like £365 or so - total highway robbery.
