Planned for Halloween (31 October) the release of new version of custom firmware 5:03 GEN-B for HEN, bootable ChickHen by introducing new and exciting information for the owners of the PSP-2000 (TA-088v3) and PSP-3000 firmware uprights Journal 5.03. More details to follow ....

Innovations introduced:

• Compatible with PSP-3000 and PSP-2000 firmware v3 with official 5.03.
• Compatibility with titles PSX (POPS).
• Compatibility with the UMD / Backup protected.
• Compatibility with the UMD / Backup that require FW 5.55 +
• Available on Jan VSHMenu.
• Access to Recovery through the VSHMenu.

According to the Team GEN (http://www.pspgen.com/custom-firmware-5-03gen-b-coming-soon-article-190560-1.html), the Custom Signing 5:03 GEN-B for HEN was tested thoroughly and it seems that has not reported problems with games that require FW 5.55 +. More news will be disclosed by the Team on the day of release.

That's nice, but I'd like to see a new advancement as far as flashing the thing, instead of loading the firmware onto ram.

why?? i know too little about these unblocking methods for psp... until now, i'm ok with that 5.03 gen-a method...

Don't get me wrong, it's great and everything. It would just be really nice to be able to fully flash firmwares to the psp3000's.

he's right cuss the cfw needs to be on the psp system it's self not some memory card altho maybe psp go would be better with that feature cuss it acts as if it has 2 memory cards inside! so fw on one and what ever on the next

Now here's a question. Could I use ChickHEN on my PSP when it already has the 6.10 OFW?

no chicken hen does not work for us upgrade firmware like 6.10 unless something new is out there like the pspgo hack but it does work on any psp!
