View Full Version : why is 5:03 genb newer than 5.50 gen-d?

i have a fat psp 1001 with 5.0 m33-6 and i wanted to update to 5.50 gen-d2 but now i saw there is a 5:03 that just came out. how is it newer than 5.50 when 5.50 is a higher number?

ok so i read some more and the 5.03 is for 3000 model psp's correct?

and the 5.50 is for 1000 and 2000?

5.50gen-d2 is for psp1000 & psp2000 but only some mobo's. psp2000 v3 mobo's and psp3000 on ofw 5.03 can run chickhen r2 and cfw 5.03a and soon 5.03b for all the new games that our umd's require 5.55+ firmware to play. Get it? if you have ofw higher than 5.03 then your out of luck and can't downgrade to a lower firmware OK. you should be updating to 5.50gen-d2 as it is far more advanced than 5.00m33 and DA is no longer on the scene at it seems.
