With the coming of the modchip, will there be the possibilite to run linux off of the flash? Like a customized damn small with minimal X and software keyboard support.
This would eliminate the need to port many of the games to the PSP, since we could run them directly off of linux. Plus with the unlocked PSP hardware capabilities, we would have a plethora of apps available from wifi to games to productivity apps.
If this is a possibility, I believe it is a must. I know the modchip will allow you to run custom firmware, how labor intensive could it be to put a small customized linux kernel as your firmware?
