It sure is a bit slow.. but maybe you guys could/can give me some ideas to make better progress!

oh yes,im gonna be first to try,i'll edit to tell u,ok nvm,i didn't have the halo textures on my psp,its pretty neat,i like it,but when i fell down,i couldn't jump back up on that platform,i got close though,but couldn't get back up,and you should make the platforms a different color so i dont get mixed up from the ground and what im on,thats why i always fall down

no, Brushes or something. it needs to be 64x64 or something?

Hey sroon! To make you map run faster, make the bounding box's walls out of mulitple brushes. My maze map, ran slow as a sumo wrestler in a cross country race :) before I did that. It should speed things up quite a bit :D

Im almost finished. I am going to include the MAP file with the bsp to that people can speed it up a bit.

And then rerelease it again.

ok the speed still needs work but I have included all of the files.
This release is a HUGE Diference since the other one!!!
All I can say is that I tried.
im also going to work on it some more!

Um but i dont understand how to speed it up..
maybe because it is a (kinda) big map?
There is also the map file so you can open it up ans see foryourself. and maybe fix it. and maybe release it.

You can use Ir shell to take a picture. Man this sounds like a fun thing, Making some cool maps. You guys got me intrested in making some of my own maps. Hopefully i'll have some time in a couple of weeks.

Ok i think i'm gonna make my own map since everyone else is making them lol. But i might need some help if you guys don't mind. I'll ask you guys when i run into a problem. If its alright with you?

umm,if you didn't get the answer back for taking screenshots,you make a screenshots folder in iris folder,and push left trigger and select to take photos,and to go outside of your body push right trigger and select and then other buttons to move around,not bad at all,you should find a really good map idea and spend a lot of time on it.Then it'd be awesome.

Not to bad, I like the idea of a zelda map once you get a bit more in the map it will start to make shape. One thing I would say though is its quite dark.

Most iris maps seem dark to me, but the Zelda forest Beta is a good map, but lags a bit sometimes

Yes,the lagging really makes it...weirdish,the fps for me got to about 5.

Thank you for trying my BETA map and telling me what needs to be done!

Alite I have added a few bug fixes to my zelda map so all I have left(for now) is Lighting!!

OK iv added a tityloop of stuff in the map.
the lighting is still fugged up(maybe yuo should tell me how to light properly) and could someone please make a pic please?
I think it goes faster now but ill let you decide.. . . .

Tensity was how intens the light was(how bright).

cool, nice maps, Im not sure if i have the right Iris. Because I have mad glitches. Eg, i can walk up 85 degree walls, bots walk in the air, i can only shoot foward... Do i have an old version? what program do u need to make ur own map? Hey, psptwister, in the house to house map, u got a sign LIKE IT?, yea, i do!
They might not be walls they are prolly levitations.
and you should have version 0.2 AND you shoulds have the Halo textures.

How big do the maps have to be? And Scroon, Good progress. I think my first map is going to be from Halo. Any recommendations? After i'm done with my first map i'll get the hang of things and be able to start working on other great maps from games.

Im pretty sure they can be any size you want, but the bigger the slower.
Im releaseing somithing else that you will have to figure out on you own on what it is.

OK iv figure out that if you use less detaild textures, it will run faster!
and lighting, well i put the intensity too high befor but now iv changed it and they work better(the levels)
