there some amazing improvement on this release..!!
chrono trigger now work great in acc+approx as well in acc+accurate..
now it's running at solid 60 fps 90% of time..
even parts of the game that was subject to slowdown now run perfect..and I mean frameskip 0 at 60 fps!

everyone got to try this out!

That catches my interest, can anyone else confirm this much of a speed increase?

Yep, I can confirm speed improvement. Chrono Trigger works great even without frameskip and overclocking. Just don't use snesadvance.dat and you should see nice speed boost with default settings.
Although the old and annoying bugs (freeze when exiting emulator on certain settings etc.) are still here. It would be nice if Zack help to fix them and maybe collaborate with that Japanese guy for future versions.

Here you can download the latest version (09/11/01): http://jbbs.livedoor.jp/game/22862/

Sorry for my poor English.

Also the cheat codes now work. The codes only partially worked before, now every code I try works.

I just tried this with Chrono Trigger. What used to always annoy me was that there would be slowdown in battles. So far, there has been no slowdown. This is definitely a faster emulator. This is fantastic!

And please can people not post on other sites about R3. It's highly untested and just a little treat for members of this site while I touch up the actual R3 release.

I don't want it going mainstream. I will fix the few remaining bugs with R3 and release an official R3 version to the masses.

ThanksAlso it looks like Zack is going to port newest Snes9x from scratch. Great news!
