Well here is my first and second map for Iris. The first one I made was HQ, this one runs a little slow but I know what I did wrong. The second one is HILLY its named this just because I found out how to make hills in GtkRadiant so thought I would show it off. As you can gather from the name they are kind of oldie based levels, well hope every one enjoyes. Also if anyone is looking for any help with a mod I would be more than happy to help.

Wow, they look good, trying them now

I have tried them....and they are good, sometimes a bit laggy, but very good

P.S Why are the screenshots lighter than the actual maps

fantastic,they are really good,how long did it take you to make these? oh and eng,he probably took them in gtkradient and then erased the outsides and resized the image

Well HQ took me quite a while I have been doing it on and off for a while, but the Hilly map took about 3-4 hours. And yes I did take the picture in GtkRadiant, thats because I'm on V2.6 and theres no other way to take a screen shot.

um,trees, i wanna see someone make a tree,they're very hard to do,and i just haven't seen a good one with the bush leaves and stuff,and since you can do hills you can probably make a tree! so lets see your best shot at a tree,idk about other stuff,but not just trees,maybe like...........someone help me out here

Hills are easy to do there is a program on GtkRadiant that creates them for you( in the pulldown menu Plugins/gtkgensurf), Its for creating terian like on my Hilly map the grass floor isn't flat its acctualy loads of bumps and dips. And I'll give a tree a go for you.

I have an idea, make a map with lots of the tops of buildings, so you could jump from building to building, and you could make the floor look like the streets below.

Awsome looking map.

Yet god you guys need to learn how to use skybox. :P It will look 200 million times better with the real skybox.

i love it but definately lighten it up and put a sun in the backround with like alot of lights and high intensity by it so if you look at it it is really brite

Oh I love it.........its like crack to me.........once im hooked theres no going back.......i think i need a rehab center for halo addicts...

EDIT: psmonkey, ill be sure to use REAL skyboxes in my mapping in the future.....
