6 button mode problems fixed
Several games that didnt work before now do
and misc bug fixes.

Dragged it down off max console earlier runs sweet..Double Dragon still doesnt work tho :( still nice !!! :)

To be honest there is very little that doesnt nearly all popular games i.e gunstar heroes,space harrier 2,sonic,thunder force,truxton all work fine you could probably count the ones that dont on one hand.

I dont think it works on 2.5 since last version didnt and the 2 versions are 1.0 and 1.5

No, there is still no Sega32X emu for PSP... I'd prefer to see a SegaCD emulator though, there is way more good games on SegaCD than 32X.

The Virtua Racing cart for Megadrive/Genesis used a special chip (a reason to the insane retail price that was around 80-100$!) that not even any of the PC emus support so sadly your best option is to get the 32x version , saturn port or the one that i think was released in a best-of collection for ps2.

Comix Zone works cool. I'd never tried it on the genesis and I'm enjoying it now! Im still waiting for Dgen to get subterrania working properly. The past few versions have got further and further into the game but not to the point of playing. Shame. I love Dgen though.

keep in mind 2.6 users
with dgen you HAVE TO place your UNZIPPED roms in the dgen folder ( the one with the eboot file) for the emulator to even recognize your roms..

my question is to the AUTHOR

do you know why gauntlet 4 is so ungodly slow compared to other games???

1.6 does not work on 2.6 but ive been using 1.30 on my 2.6 since it came out all game except 3 or 4 work also i did not have to put the roms in the dgen folder did the coder take some thing out of the new versions to keep it from working on 2.6 i do have slight problems with some games wont let me save them thank you any comments would be appreciated.

yes but on some games when you want to adjust screen in soforth by pushing the right and left triggers togeather it wont let you so you will have to turn off your psp to switch games only noticed this on a few games like castle v new gen and some others not many . on a lot of games runs smoth no prob at all so i guess yes it works great for me have about 62 roms working fine.

It appears as though Doom 32X doesn't work on it. Therefore, there is no built in 32X or sega CD. Is there any hope for such addons in a new version of DGEN? I'd really like to play Knuckles Chaotix on PSP some day...

It's probably by no means the greatest game of all time or anything, but I have been trying to get the Buck Rogers (Countown to Doomsday) and Bimini Run working on any emulator for the psp, Has anyone been successful doing this? Bimini will load up but the boat graphic is always missing on all of the emulators I have tried. Stupid post on my part but it would be nice to hear someone elses experience with this or similar titals.

I cant get this emu to work on my 2.6 what so ever,it keeps shutting off my psp so ive been forced 2 use 0.70...can some one plz help.

I have verified the rom to work on PC emulators but the boat graphic is still missing on DGEN for me or any of my other emulators for psp, along with most of the other non background graphics. It does work fine for some of you folks though?

Not a chance this is the best genesis emulator.

PSPGenesis is still better IMO, it has 6-button support and higher compatibility. DGen is faster but both of them need frameskip=2 to run at full speed, although DGen is close to full speed with frameskip=1. Both of them crash all the time but the annoying thing about DGen is when it crashes you lose all your save states from your current session, for some reason. DGen does have much better sound though.

Wow i must have gotten a special copy games play perfect for me and it has never crashed on me eather. Then again im using 1.50

I'm also using 1.50, but it always seems to crash after a while and only runs at 50-52 fps with frameskip set to 1. Maybe you can send me your magic copy so I can try it out?

In all honesty I've haven't changed from PSPGenesis since the last update last year, I only ever ran into ONE game that didn't load that I tried. At the time DGen...um...sucked. So I've barely kept an eye on it.

and I've played it A LOT thru the months, never really ran into any problems. But the wi-fi feature intrigues me...maybe I can play some Herzog Zwei on the go...

Downgrade to 1.5fw

Use 2.6fw via Devhook 0.43 when needed

waht firmware are you running? are u using devhook? if so, did you remember to switch back to 1.5 firmware?

I get the same error on my 1.5 PSP

On default settings Sonic 1 runs fine for me, If I change 'CPU Core Emulation' from 'Normal' to 'Performance' I get the same error.

Try just changing that setting and all should be well :)

I can play Sonic The Hedgehog in v1.60 and 1.70. I use Sonic The Hedgehog v3 though. (A version with some fixes and improvements)

When my friend and I try to connect to 2 player AD HOC it says "DGEN version isn't same". It is the same version of DGEN and same firmware vers. 1.50 on the PSP. We also tried with DGEN 1.4 and DGEN 1.5 but still it says "DGEN version isn't same" anybody know what could be wrong ?

im using etiff loader on fw 2.0 and im getting more or less the same message, but i cant understand it because last nite dgen was working great with a rom i was playing, i tried installing pimp streamer, and ever since i havent been able to get dgen to work, ive tried various versions aswell as formatting my memory card, anybody any ideas ? im going to be downgrading to fw1.5 tommorow anyway so hopefully that will solve it

Has anybody been able to get Shining Force 2 to work. Part one works fine, but in part two my character is not visible in certain rooms in towns. The characters are also invisible or flicker during battles. Can anybody shed some light on this problem?
