Percival/PSP3D (http://psp3d.com/homepage-news/8590-super-mario-war-v1-0-released.html) have ported the Deathmatch game Super Mario wars to the PSP, heres some info about the game:

Super Mario War is a Super Mario deathmatch game. The goal is to stomp as many other Marios as possible. It is a tribute to Mario War by Samuele Poletti.

Features:
- Up to four players of deathmatch fun.
- Tons of game modes and map.
- Hilarious unreal tournament announcers (m m m monsterkill).
- More fun than poking a monkey with a stick.
- The whole source code of the game is available.
- uses SDL and is fully portable to windows, linux, xbox, ...
- CPU Players.
- A whole bunch of game modes (featuring GetTheChicken, Domination, and and and).
- Will make you happy and gives you a fuzzy feeling.

Downloaded a 1.5 version from PSP 3D and didn't work for me either. Needs a fix. :(

I have the Xbox version. I'm testing on a 2.0 right now. I'll post my results soon:)


EDIT: Works on a 2.0 usinf eboot loader. This game is so fun!

dont convert it just put the smw folder in the game psps game folder thats how i got it to work on 2.60

Weird this is the only game that i've seen in a long time that doesn't work with 1.5 but with 2.xx LOL. But there is a way to still play it. Go get the Nokxploit App from the apps section. This alowes you to play 1.0 eboot and probaly 2.6 (i think there the same right?) Just run it and poof you can run 1.0 eboots but it only lasts until you turn it off. Its perfectaly safe as it runs in the ram. I'm going to try it now.

you guys know that if u click the website u can get the 1.5 eboot and it works for 2.x because thats what im using now and i have created 2 new chars and thats solid snake and liquid snake im creating more now

I need this, i can't be bothered to have to download the eloader to play this, i want to play it on my 1.5 psp, not my 2.6, oh well, i think a fix is being worked on.

I have it for my ps2 but I think I may have tranferred it to the ps2 wrong because you can only control one player at a time, so its fighting for control rather than the object of the game itself! lol

The PSP would rock with it, i hope it has wifi for multiplayer

use the program PSP BREW and convert it through that...

I tried PSP Brew 0.70 and chose "Save PBP" using the 1.0 Eboot, and it didn't work for me.

:cool: here a crazy thought use PSP BREW TO CONVERT THE 1.5 version to 1.0....then run the Nokxploit app on the 1.0 see if it works? :confused: let the forums know!! if you have any luck...im sure if you write to the auther he will make a version thats compatable ill do it later( write to the auther that is) if no-one finds a way ;) OTHER THAN.....lol

upgrade to 2.0 use tiff eloader untill you get your SMW fix:D then downgrade back to 1.5...:rolleyes:...roflmao...
