An image (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/viewer.php?mode=article&id=224147) of what appears to be the back of the Final Fantasy XIII box has confirmed the RPG's rather friendly memory management.

When the game eventually hits Japan next month, it won't require a mandatory hard drive install and game saves too come in at a tiny 500kb. Great news for PS3 owners who've filled up their hard drives with dodgy late night PlayTV recordings, then.

The image also confirms that the PS3 version will sport high quality LPCM 5.1 audio and CGI cut-scenes are encoded in full 1080p, while the game itself runs in 720p.

The long-awaited RPG has at last been dated for March 9, 2010 in Europe and North America, on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

And I wonder what they could be... Hah, I've had FreeView long enough to know not to waste the memory.

bit of a dissapointment that only CGs in 1080p. just spent some money on a new tv and even though they support 1080p it would of be cheaper just to get a HD ready
