Can't wait to see your Rage of Streets PSP mod. It looks like you will be the first to fully utilize the PSP screen.

Thank you for testing my local builds and reporting bugs Dawd!

For more detailed information if the directions where not clear enough....

You can download bor.pak here... http://www.senileteam.com/downloads.php?d=6
Open and extract bor.pak from the zip file to your PC. Once you have done that then... copy it to the memory stick. A good place to keep your pak files would be where you keep the eboot.pbp file in the directory called Paks. Then startup up the game. It will look like a file menu, goto the directory that has bor.pak, highlight it and press 'X'.

where do i find mods? also someone said something about the first version to fully utlize the screen? is this not fullscreen?

It depends on the mods. If they were made for the pc , the backgrounds are stretched but the items and enemies can sometimes appear onscreen instead of just outside it and any intros and cutscenes appear 320x240.

Even so , it's easy enough to edit the item/enemy placement to make it work right.

However , there are modders , myself included , making mods that will be completely 480x272

There are plenty of mods here

and more good news is if your not a modder like vettacossx or orochi-x you can still mod somthing as simple as this its just a matter of fixing the resalution....lucjy for us there are 3 apps out there made for just that.....TURNING ANY PIC TO PSP RESALUTION ( I.E. SO BOR OBJECTS APPEAR ON SCREEN)
the first one was PSP PHOTO FORMATTER just google it ;)
the second is here http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=26898
and a third is out here

Are there any that ACTUALLY work with the PSP, not for the computer, for the PSP!!

Also, any that are small enought to fit on a 32mb memory stick... last file i just started to download was 54megs!

so i need
Game that actually works for the psp, not pc.
Game thats small enough for 32mb memory stick

orochi-x
June 14th, 2006, 19:55
There is a demo of a mod called crime buster that has had the enemy placement edited to fit the PSP and it comes in at about 16 megs.

http://rapidshare.de/files/18285803/CBDEMO_PSP.rar.html

To be honest I cant think of any full games that would be small enough tqo fit on a 32mb card. Even the original was almost twice that.

Hopefully someone out there will find a spot to place all the PSP modified versions of the latest BOR mods. Cause I'm too much of an idiot to re-write code and such. Someone hook a PSP-BORother up!

Those type of levels are strickly 320x240. I have spoken to most mod creaters and asked them if they do incorporate them into the new mods. For them to please add addition graphics to fit the horizontal size of 480. This would not affect the tradition openBor engine. Its a limitation in running in widescreen when the game was designed for 320x240. Most mods do not have that type of platform level....luckly. Its the price we pay to keep it running at a native resolution as scaling never looks right.

KungPow from BorRev has completed his mod: Sailor Moon Plus Genesis Mix (big name) You can downloaded it from here: http://borrevolution.vg-network.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=364

This mod uses the full screen for cinematics and such. In-game play is still what we have been used to.

You can either use the included devbuild PSP v1.2b1 (That I allowed for release with his mod) or grab the latest devBuild v1.2e here: http://borrevolution.vg-network.com/PSP/

This is one of the best pieces of homebrew ever. Too bad the complete X-Men mod runs out of memory. I hope Tales of Vengeance get to 100%. That mod has lots of potential. Does Vampire Rage really work on PSP this time? I could never get the DC version to work.

Other than that, the BOR eboot updates just keep on getting better. Keep up the great work SamuraiX.

SamuraiX

Vampire Rage is a dark bor engine mod. Darkbor is still being ported over to the official openbor engine.

As for xmen try removing some of the models from the pak file and see if that helps with memory limitation.
