It's not really a game as such, but a virtual pet PC desktop. While the final release of it isn't, an earier version of the game I own (titled "Osaka's Spring day for Windows Ver. August 2003) appears to be open source, as all the textures are tga files (openable in Photoshop with the right extension. I've even made a few texture hacks of it), and all the files that run it are viewable and not just compressed into one big EXE file like the final version.

The whole thing is about 51MB, and runs in a bubble, but can also be set to full screen. You don't do a whole lot in it, except buy things on the TV shop when they pop up, such as a fridge and other objects for Osaka (the character from the Azumanga Daioh series) to play with. It has rather nice 3D graphics that could be done on the Dreamcast, I presume (all her animations are .HGA format, if that helps)

The app is developed by this team:

and the version in particular I'm talking about is here (there's a download on there, although the copy I have has a English hack with it I found somewhere):

They do quite a few virtual pet things like this, just thought this would make an interesting port project, if anyone's interested.
