It Seems Psp2Gamer (http://pspupdates.qj.net/MediaCenterPSP-v2-00-Released/pg/49/aid/56166) Has made an interesting windows xp shell, this works with your psp web browser, either links2 on 1.0 and 1.5 or the sony web browser for higher firmwares,Heres a little of the readme.

MediaCenterPSP v2.00 Readme

(Portal Installation)

Extract/Place the folder "PSP" in the ROOT directory.

Note: This will not harm your files. Also, if you want to take full advantage of then smaller size,
erase older versions of MediaCenterPSP

(Accessing Portal)

Open up the "Web Browser" under "Network", and type the following:

file:/psp/common/mcp/start.html

(MediaCenterPSP Support)

Options:

1) Email Me at [email protected], subject label
"MediaCenterPSP v2.00 Flash" I will get back to you as soon as possible.

2) PM me on the Playstation message boards. My handle is "PSp2gamer"

-Due to the overwhelming amount of e-mails I recieved with Version 1.00 and 1.50, I would just like to
say that it could be a little while before I can give you a reply/answer. Thanks

Ahhhh its ok m8 your just asking a question lol.

You need to go onto your browser options and change your homepage address to:-

file:/psp/common/mcp/start.html

That should start the browser. Make sure you put the prowser file into the common folder of your PSP Memory Stick, I hope that helps you to work this fine portal :D

Thanks. For those apps you must have Firmware v2.70 or 2.71 and have flash enabled and turned on.

so it's just a windows shell that allows you to open everything you can already open on yoru PSP, just has it organized into one spot? meh I don't really need this, but not saying anything bad about the preson who made this, im sure lots of people will find it handy, just not me. ^^

This is pretty neat. I played around with it yesterday. I got MSN Messenger working. Its really bare, im taking it that its the web version. But it did work, i messaged my friend. But it takes forever to type anything out with the software keyboard ;)

I got it to work by simply putting the file://etc into the URL bar at the top. You have to make sure you copy the "common" folder into your PSP folder ( i think its called common, im at work so i cant check), its the folder inside the one you download.

Once you have the Media Center open simply open up your bookmarks tab and save it in there. Presto-Change-o!! no need to keep adding the url in. :)

Porl''

p.s. its probably super hard to do but it would be ace if the audio messaging could be implimented in the MSN messenger. Then using the USB talkman mic you could use it for Voip! :D

What a great program!!!
...but i´ve got a little problem...
the apps. works good, the messengers works very good too, but if i click on "User" or "MediaVault" i´ve got the message:

"Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be aviable in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Apache/ 1.3.37 Server at mcp.kinkymedia.net Port 80"

did i make anything wrong, or is the server offline..?
