Pardon my ignorance. I have done countless searches and have come across contradictory information.
I want to upgrade my firmware to one of the 5.0 versions, not sure if I want m33 or GEN yet.
My current firmware is 3.40 OE-A.
Hardware is original launch day fat psp.
From what I have read there are some issues with this firmware that may cause problems when updating to newer versions.
I am asking for some assistance in how I should go about upgrading. I know that I will have to flash at least one 3.xx version before upgrading to 5.xx, I am just not sure which version is the best, or even if downgrading back to 1.5 and then upgrade. Someone please confirm the correct way to do this without bricking, I am waiting on my spare battery order so that I can create pandora's battery.
