It looks badass.
The Dash connects to Wi-Fi and will, of course, have a significant focus on apps. From Sony:

The dash device accesses a wireless home network and continuously updates information designated by the user. That information is then delivered by more than 1,000 selectable free "apps" to give consumers customized Internet content.

It's pretty interesting—not just a slab like a giant iphone, but an angled screen that stands upright, sort of like a Chumby with the power of a true tablet. Here are some more details on the tablet.

* Features 7-inch capacitive color touch screen
* Offers instant access to over 1,500 "apps," including popular social networking sites, news, weather, sports, and more
* Stays continually connected and updates content via a home Wi-Fi connection (no monthly fees necessary)
* Supports internet radio playback
* Provides two viewing angles – flat and upright
* Includes USB slot, headphone/audio input and built-in stereo speakers for outstanding sound
* Available in April for about $200
