Big PSP Game Next Week?

PSP owners, mark your calendars for next week (we're not sure of the specific day, so just put a red streak through the entire week)! Next week's issue of Famitsu will reportedly contain the exclusive scoop on a big PSP game. The game is said to be a sequel to a hit title, but this is all that's been revealed so far.

What is this big game? Like you, we'll have to wait until next week to find out. Next week's issue is due out on 7/14, but the info should leak out a few days prior to that.

Any thoughts ?

I just remembered, EXIT2 is being made, but I don't know if it was announced.
It can also be Kingdom of Paradise 2. The ending of the first left us waiting for a sequel.

I hope they stop making GTA games, those suck, have no story and are all the same.
It's ok for a game to have what GTA have, but it's not ok to see oil spit from robots in Megaman Zero series(and maybe ZX too)... I can't understand those ERSB old farts that have nothing to do but watch their grandgrandgrandchildren play GTA waiting for a woman to apper so they can jerk off :P

Exit2 was already anounced and pictured in famitsu.

I dout it is Kingdom of Paradise 2 since the first one did not actualy do that well in japan.

Truthfuly I think it's a sequal to a big name ps2 or ps1 game. Since it's going to be in famitsu it has to be from a japanese studio. Since it's a new anouncement it needs to be something unnanounced (unless famitsu is blowing it out of porportions again and we knew of the game already).

Look at namco, They pretty much dont anounce games till they are practicaly done (we just found out about Ridge Racers 2 which is comming out in less then 3 months).

Anyways I am a huge Kingdom Hearts fan (KH is my favorite ps2 game period). I trust my source. So even if the anouncement is not it, don't be suprised to hear about it in the future. :P

I think it is likely that it is somthing no one knows about yet, they they think is bound to be a hit. Perhapes Capcom will pull another odd idea out of their asses and turn it into a million seller (viewtiful joe)

I'm placing my bets on a ps1/2 port of some type. Hopefully one of the RPG/Action RPG variety.

Of course, whenever I hear tell of a "big name" sequel in the works, I quietly pray for "Chrono Trigger 3". 99.9% chance that my prayers won't be answered though. I'd settle for a soul calibur game on psp, if nothing else.

Resident Evil makes the most sense to me. But I could easily see something from the guys who did Ico and SOTC, because I read they were considering working on something. The game I would love to see is God of War (Yes I know the developers are in califronia). Possibly a Sly Cooper game. Im not sure but I hope its god of war or Resident Evil

CAPCOM GAMES...all i can say is PRICE PRICE PRICE....i mean there not by any means the best games for the psp.......but they are ALL gr8 games for the CHEAP price tags ;) street fighter alpha 3 max,megaman powered up,mega man maveric hunter,and viewtiful joe all grace my 40 some umds so.....

- NEW Crash Bandicoot
- NEW Resident Evil
- NEW Devil May Cry
- NEW Parasite Eve
- A BRAND NEW Final Fantasy...what's with all the Crisis Core talk? That game's been announced and delayed forever and even a simple google can lead you to a plethora of screenshots and video teasers...so there is no longer a "surprise" factor involving this game.
- NEW Kingdom Hearts
- NEW Onimusha
- NEW anything else I missed?

I think it may be square too, as they have been throwin GBA games out constantly for a while.
