Hey. Im new to this site but have been helping noobs with CFW installations, homebrew, apps, and games for a while now. I got a Phat PSP and a God of War Slim, both running 4.01 M33-2. Also, both of my PSP's CFW was installed with a MMS that I developed, the MMSX. Its up for grabs here allready.

This site seems cool so far, lots of helpful info. Lots of members and posting too...

A friend recommended me to this site so I could post a question about a phone I bought. I posted that first, but it isn't showing up. I read the piece suggesting as a new member to go to introductions and introduce myself. So thats why I'm here. My name is Kyle, first time joining a forum group looks like a good one to be at as I am a video game fiend. :)

As for my thread I created that I can't seem to find and check on, maybe someone can inform me if I'm overlooking the location of its link. The title was Samsung Omnia if it did get created I would also greatly appreciate anyone who takes the time to read it and offer me some suggestions or feedback.

Thanks to the creators for developing a site geared towards gaming and technology in general. Where techies and hobbyists can put their heads together and make great things happen in the world of gaming, consoles, and whatever else. Which is the other reason why I think this will be a great forum group to be a part of, since it doesn't seem restricted to just gaming, but simply one of its core purposes.

If you are looking for a PS1 emu for PSP, have a look in the PSP console section (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=79) or try using the search function. It is easier though just to use Sony's built in one using the suitable popsloader version for your game PS1 you want to play.

well im schmeh...and let me ask you people...why does registering to any games forum SUCK so badly...i know its to block spammers, flamists and people who just plain advertise but when genuine people want to register it just sucks that bad that you regret ever registering at all...for example...theres the image with the 6 digits...please type the digits shown in the image....they give you 6 quite virtually unreadable digits hidden in some 3 year olds attempt with crayons and shapes and expect you to see them...you click refresh image..they give you the exact same image again..refresh again and you get a half illegible image in which you successfully type out the 6 digits which you can barely make out but nonetheless better than the previous image...im sorry the digits that you typed are not correct, and then the site gives you another unreadable image....this happened 5 times...its been happening to any other site...guah its so hard to register to anything these days...and i dont know if i should post this in the help forum..or tips to improve the site thread....well this is my first post...quite a waste actually...

New here,you know. :) I've been a PSP owner since 4/26/05 and I just got a modded 2001 with 5.00 M33-6 on it in the mail 2 weeks ago.Kind of like having my new 1001 all over again in '05!I like my 3001 best still though.I have 5 PSPs now.Bought a new 2001 in 6/08.Then bought my 2nd 1001 just after that in 6/08.Then in 9/08 got me a new 3001.Then in 6/09 got me a 2001 'mod'. :) Can you tell I'm a PSP fan and nut yet?Wait until your hear about my HUGE UMD collection,then,you'll know I'm a fan for sure! :)

I take a neutral, open minded stance on gaming, and I wish more did as well. Most of the people I've met in real life are not even remotely interested about anything pre-360 and jeer at me for liking BLEEPY BLOOPY CRAP GRAPHICS SHITTY GAEMPLEY ELL-OH-ELL-OH-ELL-OH-ELL ROFFLECOPTER OMG SO WITTY EX DEE games.
Nuts to them, I have the good stuff, they have brown.[/rant]

My musical tastes are quite diverse.
I enjoy in equal measures rock, blues, chiptune, jazz and international music. But none of the turd-worthy rap remixes that all sound exactly the same and feature at least 98.3% auto-tune that you hear these days.
I'm ranting again, I'm sorry.
I quite like Seastick Steve as well.
And Gorillaz. I only have Demon days, but I plan to remedy that by snapping up their upcoming third album and the original one if I can find it within the labrynthine construct of Crawleys' HMV.

Surprise surprise, I have a wide preference of another thing. This time it's literature.
I've recently been reading a lot by Osamu Tezuka (manga counts as literature shaddap), Tom Holt and, dare I say, Douglas Adams.
I don't have much else to say on the subject of books, so moving on.

I hail from Christchurch, Dorset on Englands southcoast.I moved to Eilat, Israel on the Red Sea in 1985.My son was born here in 1990 and in 1996 the PS1 was officially launched here along with "Powerstation" which was written in Bournemouth, my favourite seaside town.
I got my son one and he learnt a large part of his English language skills from the dialogue in the games.
He is serving in the I.D.F. half way thru his 3 years service.I have always enjoyed helping him with tweaking the Playstations.Chip-modding and HD fitting on our last of the Fat Silver V12 PS2's.
I have noticed of late he has taken to playing again some of the Final Fantasy games and following a guide to find parts of the story he missed previously.He does not like using cheats or codes.Unlike me, having tried AR2 and Xploder and even the Codebreaker 10 but it won't open on a chipped PS2 Pal unit unless fitted with a Matrix infinity with at least a 3.6 firmware.And even then it is not sure it will open.
I recently noticed the new memory card with USB link.I was wondering if the PS2 had been "over-shadowed" by the PS3 and no more developments were being made.It would appear from this memory card that there is still a thriving PS2 user community.
I will be looking for news on this new memory card.
Another question I want to ask is not PS2 but general PC.I notice most sites don't discuss "piracy" issues.But hacking PS2's seems to be acceptable.Where can I get some feedback about activation issues with "bent " copies of windows 7?It seems more trouble than its worth to me.

Long-time Sega fan here, just got a Dreamcast last year and playing it almost non-stop 'cause it came with Jet Grind Radio and I got Sonic Adventure 2, Shenmue, Red Dog, Zombie Revenge and Street Fighter III: Double Impact shortly after. Also a PlayStation 2 user, my favorite game is God Hand, and Burnout 3, Revenge and Resident Evil 4 also rock.

I'm considering getting an Xbox 360 once LED-backlit LCD TV sets get cheaper here, as well as high-definition cable or satellite television services to make the most out of the whole investment, lol.
