First time here - Not new to emulation, I run many on the PC platform as well as having built my own MAME cabinet and then some. However, I just recieved a PSP as a gift and I also purchased a GP2x, PSP for modern games alkthough I hear I can homebrew it with GTA:LCS which makes it a little better. But the GP2x mainly for all the supported music and movie formats as well as the emulation and open source community.

I don't program myself, just a retro computing freak looking to go mobile wth the fun.

Just got a used Dreamcast today. It's pretty cool, but all I have is Virtua Tennis, and i wanted to get more out of it. So I joined these boards.

I own a 1.5 PSP with sufficient homebrew on it to kill a horse, play guild wars factions, draw, and am going to buy the Wii once it comes out.

to change your usertitle go to "user CP" in the top left corner then go to "group memberships" then choose a group.

There are many extra groups but you have to actually be or contribute to that area before you can be consider a member of it. But welcome any ways and this is a great community. Just read the rules first so you don't say or post something to get the mods wrath on you.

I recently bought myself a GP2X (+2500 Nimh batteries + 4GB TOPRAM SD Card & Reader), and already enjoying every minutes of it !
It's all Craig's fault !;-)
He did a demo of the GP2X at BigBash4 (mid-September 2006)... So I started doing a bit of reading about this product, but everything I read/heard about it convince me more and more to buy one...
Since I bought my AmigaOne, the GP2X is the second best "tech gadget" I could buy ! And soon I might need a second 4GB SD Card as I only have about 200MB remaining on mine...;-)

Hey all, I'm The Tjalian, also known by some as The Teej. The Tjalian's my main net name, so I usually use that when I join up on tech-based/game-based forums. I originally joined up because I wanted to find out more about SDLoad use on the Wii, and you guys were the only ones/best ones with such discussion going on that would actually know what I'm on about...

But, that's not to say I'm gonna be a one post wonder. That's for noobs, and AFAIK I'm not a noob. Yes, that means I've already checked the rules. Shock-freaking-horror, I know. A Newbie checking the rules straight away! Miracles can happen. I guess you can say I'm a gadget man without all the latest gadgets, but I'm sure I can squeeze my way through and join in the discussion and whatnot.

Incase any of you are wondering, Yes I WILL be getting a Wii on UK Launch day. NO, I'm not a Nintendo fanboy. I pretty much like all the consoles (or, I don't hate any of them anyway). That's not to say I'm a fan of Sony Corporation right now...I have a few censored words for them...hehe.

A Question, though. How many posts or what type of requirement do I need to obtain to have a signature and custom avatar? To misquote from Hackers, "I can't get an identity without my signature and avatar!", so any answers as to how and when I can get one would be greatly appreciated...thanks. Oh, and can we use php extensions for images on this board in anyway? (For the insecure: No, I'm not planning on hacking via php exploits...it's for a image randomiser script I wanna use in my signature, PM for more info)

my newest scheme, erm idea is to re-port dosbox to dreamcast, updating the DC version to 0.65 and hopefully allowing it to run Privateer, a game that still beats out the phantasy star series as my all time favorite.

The regular people who play acww used to visit daily for long periods of time, then all of a sudden, i would open the gate and no one would come through the gateway this happened for 2 weeks it's not so much fun on your own, as when people visit your town or you visit theirs.
