I've actually did this one. It's a bit slow on the DC, but I'll upload when I find it.
Yes, I have it on my Linux partition if you want it. I'll send a PM ;)

It's not really a game. It's just (if I remember correctly) just a bunch of random movements on the screen.

Guess my memory of 4 months ago was hazier than I thought. Â*I only got this working on Linux, I forgot it relies on iostream and other specific C++ stuff.

If you want to muck with it for Linux, there you go :) Â*I don't think I've changed anything from the original source, I think I just changed the makefile or something.
EDIT: I forgot what the heck this actually was. Basically you drag your mouse pointer across the surface to create "life".

OHHHHH that game of life. I think everyone was thinking of the board game. That is the famous scientific/mathematical puzzle game that isnt really a game per se. the idea is that they can only reproduce and live in certain ways goverened by probabilities and based on where you start the tiles you can get different endshapes, or things like sliders(?) where a certain shape will appear to move as a whole.

NO NO quzar was right its the board game i actually did have a site with images for the game but for some reason where i save all my sites i saved the direct download to the source instead unless you have downloaded this source and it was what your talking about

But the link you provided is to the same thing I showed ;) I just checked the files and looking at the name of them they are identical to the source I compiled the other program. ;)
I thought it was the board game, too, 4 months ago. Maybe we both saw the same misleading site...

Just like a demo sim not much of a game. It's Not going to happen. C++ stuff even thou you can get most of it working does not work 100% correctly game will not run with out a lot of rewritting really not worth it.
