Well, that was the 2008 model. The 2010 model has now been revealed, and while it drops the "tangerine", it certainly retains the "terror".
Dubbed the G7750-A64, I'm going to call it "Cylon #13 (http://kotaku.com/tag/13/)" (or "Daniel The Toaster") instead. It's been upgraded with a Core i7-960 3.20GHz CPU and a new GeForce GTX 260 graphics card to go with its 8GB of RAM, and also boasts a more reserved, darker colour scheme.
I'd have said the new tones were "tasteful", but I don't think tasteful is where Acer is going with these things.
The G7750-A64 was first unveiled last month in Asia, and is priced there at PhP153,900 and ¥289, 800. Which is around, oh, USD$3300.
