Hi there,

I need some alpha testers for my new Dreamcast selfboot tool called cdi4dc. I have written this proggy in in order to replace the old bin2boot method.

Cdi4dc generates a real valid selfboot image (also virtually mountable). You just need to create an ISO with the 11702 msinfo value.

I recommand mkisofs from cdrtools to generate the ISO. :

mkisofs -C 0,11702 -V YOUR_VOLUME_NAME -joliet -rock -l -o YOUR_ISO.ISO YOUR_SOURCE_DIRECTORY
Don't forget to insert an ip.bin in the generated ISO.

After generating the ISO and inserting the IP.BIN, you can use cdi4dc. Type this command :

cdi4dc YOUR_ISO.ISO SELFBOOT.CDI

Try to burn the generated CDI to a CDRW disc, mount it to virtual drive and try to copy the content to your disc, etc. Try to generated smalls ISO, big ISO...

Here is the file :

Password : alpha_version
URL : http://sbibuilder.free.fr/.tmp/cdi4dc_01a.rar
Thanks in advance for your help !

Please understand this is a private alpha version, so please don't distribute it. :)
