Dan Potter mentioned in the Consolevision forums that he is working on a new version of the Kallisti OS (KOS), which is the dev environment for Dreamcast. He will be including a new library, and implementing quite a few new features to make it easier for people to port and create new projects for the Dreamcast. Here is what Dan had to say:[br]I'm about to make another big push / revolutionary change to KOS that I think will make it even easier and faster to develop and port stuff -- I'm importing Newlib as the libc. I've already got most things fully functional, and C++ programs with libstdc++ even work fine now. I'm hoping to get exceptions, RTTI, the full kit and kaboodle going pretty soon. It's just a matter of finding the loose ends and hooking them up...[br][br]To read the rest of Dan's comments on his new version of KOS, please visit this topic (http://www.consolevision.com/forums/YaBB.cgi?board=DC_Discussion;action=display;num=10 91286723) in the Consolevision forums.
