GamesAid's third annual golf day has sold out in record time and the event is on track to thrash its donations target for the year.
The charity's third annual event sold out of golf day tickets in a record three months, with competitors on the day to include representatives of Microsoft, Nintendo, SEGA, Gem, Namco Bandai and Codemasters, among others.
Donations raised so far mean the event is well on its way to smashing last year's donation total of £32,024.
Spaces for the event's spa day are still available, as are tickets to the event's evening awards dinner, set to take place on May 27 in Watford.
"You get a great buzz when your event is a sell out, especially a charitable one," commented Richard Stickler, GamesAid trustee. "I cannot thank people enough for taking part in this year's event. Without the industry's support, we would not be able to do all the amazing things with the money raised - evidence of which will be shown at the evening awards dinner.
"It would be amazing if we could sell out on the spa day too. What a great way to treat yourself or incentivise your staff as a prize, with all proceeds going to a fantastic cause."
