The season opener for GametrailerTV aired last night with your's truly and a clutch of other "industry experts" talking about their most anticipated (http://kotaku.com/tag/mostanticipated/) games for this year.
On my list:
Red Dead Redemption (http://kotaku.com/tag/reddeadredemption/), because I'm a huge western shooter fan and this game looks like it might push a much-deserved genre into the mainstream spotlight.
Heavy Rain (http://kotaku.com/tag/heavyrain/). I mean it's Quanticdream's latest game. It's a mystery. It's a thriller. It's got unbelievable graphics and, well, it's a Quanticdream game.
Alan Wake (http://kotaku.com/tag/alanwake/) comes from the folks who brought us Max Payne and is a new horror survival, action adventure game with a neat light and dark mechanic.
