This year's Game Developers Conference adds one more must-attend session with the addition of Metroid creator Yoshio Sakamoto (http://kotaku.com/tag/yoshiosakamoto/)'s rare lecture about his work on WarioWare and the adventures of Samus Aran.
Sakamoto will likely talk about the progress and development of Metroid: Other M for the Wii, which is being co-developed with Tecmo's Team Ninja. But he'll definitely talk about his 25 years of experience at Nintendo, developing titles such as WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$, Rhythm Heaven and Tomodachi Collection, the Nintendo DS hit that has sold some 2.7 million copies in Japan.
Other noteworthy GDC appearances (http://kotaku.com/5462580/final-fantasy-xiiis-fiction-fable-iiis-gameplay-detailed-at-gdc) start with Final Fantasy XIII director Motomu Toriyama and Fable creator Peter Molyneux. Pray that there are no conflicts.
Perhaps Sakamoto will have good news about the release of Tomodachi Collection or give us some insight into the creation of the latest Metroid. Whatever the case, Kotaku will be there covering GDC 2010 (http://kotaku.com/tag/gdc2010/) on all fronts.
