http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/4/2010/02/500x_itunes-preview.jpgVery quietly, Apple has slipped a new feature into the iPhone and iPod Touch (http://gizmodo.com/tag/ipodtouch/)—iTunes Preview (http://gizmodo.com/tag/itunespreview/), which we saw last November (http://gizmodo.com/5403986/itunes-enters-the-web-browser-with-itunes-preview) for the desktop.
It allows you to click on an App Store link and be taken to a website showing the app's details, so you know what to expect before downloading. A picture, description, price, rating, reviews and screenshots are included in the app profile, but in order to download it you will have to revert back to the App Store.
