under my devhook icon, I have another that says "return fw to 1.50" which works fine when running devhooks 2.71 fw. :D

Or, there is an eboot that comes with the Ultimate Installer, that allows you to exit DevHook, by launching a eboot titled "Return to 1.50". That's what I use...

my problem is I'm stuck in 2.71 right now, devhook is runing, I know because its loading an ISO, but I can't go back to 1.5 :P like everytime I reboot it just keeps bringing the 2.71 firmware, and I know its devhook because its the same firmware with hacks that's being launched.

Wait.. You turned it off and turn it back on and now it's booting on 2.71 mode automatically ? Freaky.. I don't think it's possible.. Devhook runs on a MS right ? Can you just take it off before turn it on ?
From what I learned it won't brick unless you flashed it (on a small percentage using 1.5 flash option).

Are you using a custom firmware?

Unless you wrote the 2.71 files to your flash there is no way you can reboot as 2.71 constantly unless your using custom firmware in which case I believe you need to hold a button down while rebooting for it to not boot devhook immediately.
