And it's calling the Wii to perform strongest this year.
Activision is expecting the Wii to outsell its competitors, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with Sony's now-gen console continuing to hold onto third place, closing the gap on Microsoft just a little bit more this year.
The big winner? Portables. Activision execs named the Nintendo DS and PSP platforms as seeing combined growth of 18 million units in 2010, maybe with some iPhone and other smartphone platforms thrown into the mix. Here's Activision's estimates, based on NPD, Charttrack and GfK data.
