The Popular IRC Client by Ficedula (http://www.sylphds.net/ev2/contentview.php?id=519) named SylphIRC has been updated to version 0.05v

Changes in this version include

-Fixed PMs going into wrong window
-Added "Open PM" command - open a new PM window to a user
-(Hacky) fixed case sensitivity issues on channel names etc. (for the moment, puts everything in lower case)
-Source released

Couldn't get this to work on my Ds Phat (v1), FlashMe v6, Supercard miniSD. :-/
