That is unless you are reading this sometime after the next MMO comes out, in which case these adorable Lalafell represent the best thing to come out of Final Fantasy XIV. After all, the races of Final Fantasy XIV are the same races as those in XI, only renamed. This was done in order to foster aesthetic familiarity among players, which makes complete and total sense to me in some reality.
Call them Tarutaru or Lalafell, these cute little PVC figures are now available for sale at the Square Enix Store (http://ssl.square-enix-shop.com/usa/detail.php?id=601) for $24.99 a set. They're the closest you can get to Precious Moments figurines without losing your gamer cred.
