The team behind Advanced Wars-esque Mecho Wars (http://kotaku.com/tag/mechowars/) on the iPhone is fast at work on a sequel, Mecho Tales.
Developer Luc Bernard tells Kotaku that Mecho Tales is bound for a number of platforms and will feature a single player campaign and both local and online 4-player multiplayer. The gameplay, Bernard says, will be a homage to the 16-bit era of gaming with a soundtrack by Sean Beeson that combines orchestral music with chiptunes.
Seen here are screens from the PSP Minis version of the game, which will only include the single-player campaign.
