Wow Hears a really nice Mod that just landed on my doorstep this morning! Halo-Turrican Is quite simply the Best Mod i've played thus far! This mod is amazing, Quite possibly vettas best work yet!!,
You guys have to try this one!! Here is what our friendly neighborhood supermodder had to say about this awesome release!!

Heres Halo-turrican-mod JMV mod developments The best halo mod yet hands down done with psp3d's new arguru game turrican... I've done a lil GFX and SFX modding with a very nice halo theme!
So have a look if you like halo,turrican or metroid fusion this mod is for you!!!... thanks to :
arguru and team for the most promising homebrew since SMM!!!!... ranks up
there with ...callisto,smw and smashbros gp!!! and there L.A.S.T sfx heavy metal theme !!

There are 1.0-2.6 supported versions included in the zip along with a read me as always stay tuned to DCemu psp news to see what JMV has up there sleeves next?! ....enjoy!!

About this file, The original file was to large to upload in one peace, So I had to split it up. Just download both parts into the same directory and highlight part one extract normally and winrar will do the rest!

I've deleted the SFX files and then the file... but still nothing... is this just for 1.5 users???

that happens even when its right bro just hit x or o and contnue its all good ;) thats how it loads ive used this one 2.6 and 1.5 on 2.6 you might have to take out the music files to get it to work again this is because the 2.6 does not have enough memory to handle the SFX without crashing :( sorry to all you 2.6 users :( download and run this for a 1.5 tranformation ;) no need to COLLECT any files just download install and poof your 2.6 is a 1.5 this one is THE EASY downgrader http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/605

I'm running 1.5 and have trouble starting up the game - please help. I can see start screen but once I press X it reads memory stick and crash. I've also tried getting rid of SFX files and still no start up. Mine was a 2.6 before - just for info. I've had no problem playing KETM, Sudoku, Doom, Quake and many other home brews.

Never mind - I got it running by getting rid of music instead and putting back game sounds for something to hear.

not to be patrinizing but id have to say 1 of 2 things may have went wrong for you bro ;)

1.....you need to re-download it your copy didnt download right the first time for who knows what reasons...that would be my first guess just because you stated that you can get the title or START SCREEN...so that makes me think maybe you didnt get all the files when you extracted this?! ;):rolleyes:

2....you installed this wrong .:confused: why i say this is....in 1.5 you have kernall mem access meaning there is NO NEED to remove the sound files bro! ;) this should work PERFECTLY on a 1.5 and more than that i also downgraded my 2.6 to 1.5 recently to emulate 2.71 with devhook so i know for a FACT this works fine even on a recently downgraded psp ;) mail me and ill zip mine strat from games for ya bro that will confirm you got all the files you need okay?? ;) [email protected]

as far as i know JMV was yet again the first to mod TURRICAN and we also were the first and only modders of SMW as far as i know :( wish there were more mod groups for the psp....JMV is here with one major goal our "MODD-o" is " we offer replay value " ;) ...i hope more folks bring there creative ideas and suggestions to the forums so we can make there IDEAS a reality that is why i do these mods for my friends at dcemu ;) and to offer replay value to our fav homebrew releases because UN-like SONY we do CARE what YOU..... THE GAMERS want ;)

i made the metal slug one have a trippy trail effect....and it was an accedent!!! lol ....but one thing i have learned about the GFX portion of this by doing that metal slug mod is that certain colors can not be too vibrant or they...kinda...well ill say " bleed" for a lack of a more professional term ;) ....but its ok i learned from it so thats what matters and i fixed up what i could...now im that much wiser for the next mod i guess!!...SONIC GOES A-WALL? lmao

kmode is only needed for atrac playback. so actually i could make a version for 2.6. i was just too lazy 'cause i thought everybody would downgrade anyway now.
