Of course it does, because Nokia's being accused (http://gizmodo.com/5459705/nokiaapple-lawsuit-turns-ugly-with-nokia-sniping-at-apples-largest-mobile-devices-company-claim) of the same thing.
Steve Jobs commented on the lawsuit against HTC:
"We can sit by and watch competitors steal our patented inventions, or we can do something about it. We've decided to do something about it. We think competition is healthy, but competitors should create their own original technology, not steal ours."
It's not known exactly which phones or part of the user interface HTC is in trouble over, with Apple merely stating it's related to the "iPhone's user interface, underlying architecture and hardware."
