Sony's Dash (http://www.engadget.com/tag/sony,dash) "personal internet viewer" may have prompted some slight confusion and eventual disappointment when it was introduced (http://www.engadget.com/2010/01/06/sony-introduces-dash-internet-viewer-touchscreen-tablet/) among all the tablet madness at CES, but it's since turned into a decidedly more interesting (http://www.engadget.com/2010/02/16/sony-dash-given-ability-to-stream-tvs-and-movies-from-netflix-n/) (if slightly less portable) device, and it's now finally available for pre-order directly from Sony. As expected, it runs $199, and Sony promises to start shipping them out "on or about" April 15th -- just in time for that credit charge to get lost among the small fortune you owe in taxes.
