mstest is a small bash script which uses several commonly installed UN*X tools to test the performance and wealth of a Memory Stick through a PSP.

At the moment, it is only tested on Linux 2.6, and it might require changes in order to run on different kernels. Note that it *MIGHT* also run on Windows, by using CygWin or MinGW. Please report if you succeed in running it on a
different system ;).

The program can be downloaded at http://www.nogood.it/sukkopera/misc/mstest-0.1.tar.bz2

I'm sure it will work on an OS X machine being a bash script.

Sounds like a useful program for guys with Linux to use.
I'd like to know how good/bad my mem stick is.

Sadly it won't work using cygwin in Windows (XP)... I just tried it.
To start with it won't detect the PSP in the first place... and then things just get worse. :p

Here is what happens when I try...

*edit:* lol, just noticed that it shows how out-of-date my files are... shoulda checked for incriminating stuff! :o

yeah sorry, at the moment it can't work on windows at all, as it requires access to sysfs, which is a linux exclusive. i might try and fix that, as it's only used for autodetecting where the psp is mounted and detecting the MS size. there might be another way to do that.
