As some may know, there is a Dreamcast Development IRC channel on the freenode network. This channel, while not exactly usually lively, might be able to act as a resource if anyone needs help in Dreamcast Development.

The channel, on irc.freenode.net is #dreamcastdev

Feel free to join us sometime, even if you just feel like talking. Basically, as long as you respect everyone around, and don't act like a total idiot, you're welcome to join us.

Yeah, I always visit this channel but it is absolutely inactive. Everyone is idle there.

There are a few other dev channels out there:

#dcdev (at EFnet)
#boob (at EFnet)
#ljsdcdev (at FreeNode)
#dreamcastdev (at FreeNode) (Of course ;))

I regularly visit all these channels. It would be nice tor bring the guys from these channels together to get one active channel.

I'm never on when you get in, if you just ask a question you have a better chance of getting a response.

#ljsdcdev (at FreeNode)Wow... someone shows up in my little channel other than me?

As a side note, #ljsdcdev isn't really meant for general DC development discussion, its more for my projects... Whenever anyone actually wants to discuss them.

As a side note, I'm usually in #dreamcastdev whenever I'm online, but its quite infrequent lately when I can pay much attention to it. Real life tends to suck sometimes.

Freenode rocks. I got the tools I need to get compiling with SH4. Woot. Next I will try a simple Hello World Program. :)
