From the outside, you might be forgiven for confusing the Edge (http://www.engadget.com/tag/entourageedge) for a netbook, but it is in a fact a "dualbook" (http://www.engadget.com/2009/12/16/entourage-edge-dual-screen-android-e-reader-given-lusty-hands-on/) -- a moniker the company coined to account for the pair of displays (one 9.7-inch E Ink panel, one 10-inch LCD) and the dual functionality of the device. The Laptop crew grabbed one for review, and their immediate impression was that at three pounds, the Edge was that tiny bit too well rounded to make for comfortable handheld use. Other complaints were levied at the narrow viewing angles on the Android-driven color display and the bogus combo of a 63 second boot time allied to a battery that lost 85 percent of its charge over 12 hours of sitting idle. It wasn't all bad though, as the device earned praise for its physical flexibility (aided by a reliable hinge), note-taking options, and the way the two screens are made to interact with each other.
