I own one of these. It sucks for the DS and doesn't work on a Gameboy Micro (GBM).
Have to use my old Gameshark reflashed with Pro Action Replay firmware to get it to work on the GBM....luckily it works with my EFA Linker II plugged into it as well.
All you can do on this hunk of junk is backup your DS gamesaves to the cart or to your PC.
Anyone already running homebrew on an NDS should use ReinMoon instead to backup cart gamesaves.
