Below is a survey conducted by Game Informer to find out the thoughts of anonymous developers about the current set of systems from Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo:

Are you excited for the Wii?

Yes - 77%
No - 23%

If you port to the Wii, how hard is it to adapt your title to that system?

Hard - 67%
Not so Bad - 33%
Easy - 0%

Is the PS3 too expensive?

Yes - 63%
No - 37%

How would you rate the PS3 development kits at this point?

Good - 20%
Bad - 20%

Which system are you more excited to develop for?

Microsoft XBOX 360 - 37%

I'm guessing people want to devolop for the 360 due to Microsoft's XNA.

The Nintendo Wii would be a great system to code for due to the fact it is backwards compatabile with all the games already and all we really need to do is crack the system (find an exploit) and then we can just run all those games nativieley without coding emulators for the systemf rom scratch, they will already be build into the system XD. I still wonder though what format is Nintendo planning to put the roms in =S

If there smart... somthing we cant recognize right of the bat... The hacked n64 emulator that was done via streaming different things onto the zelda master quest disc for the gcn still gives me the giggles.

i personally would hate to develope for the PS3. imagine how long it would take for all that detail in the games :eek:
