Samsung still hasn't committed to a formal launch date for the e-reader line (http://www.engadget.com/2010/01/06/samsung-announces-e6-e-book-reader-at-ces/) it launched at CES, but the company narrowed down the launch date from "early 2010" to "this spring" this morning -- which makes sense, seeing as spring has nearly, uh, sprung. The big news is that Sammy's partnered up with Barnes and Noble, so there's a built-in content ecosystem for these guys at launch; whether anyone will choose the $399 six-inch E6 over the popular Nook (http://www.engadget.com/2010/02/24/barnes-and-noble-ceo-describes-nook-as-single-best-selling-prod/) remains to be seen, but the $699 10-inch E10 certainly fills a gap in the B&N lineup. We've still no word on whether or not the QWERTY-equipped E61 (http://www.engadget.com/2010/02/04/samsung-e61-e-book-reader-outed-brings-physical-qwerty-keyboard/) will hit the States, but we're looking out for more info -- we'll let you know.
