PsPmad (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/member.php?u=4042) has released his XxPsPmadxX Custom Firmware Patch v0.1. Here is what he has said about this release:

This Custom Firmware was tested by me. *You will still use it at your own risk*
this Custom Firmware includes Autobooting Button configuration. which means you
will be able to choose which button you would like to push to autoboot your
favorite Homebrew,Emulator,and ect....

-Release Note-
Autobooting Button configuration
RTRIGGER enters Recovery Mode ("Thanks Harleyg for his Recovery 0.2")
Look in the config file for more information.

* No kxploit
* No corrupt icons
* No intro

-Available Button Configurations-

UP
DOWN
LEFT
RIGHT
TRIANGLE
CROSS
SQUARE
CIRCLE
SELECT
START
HOME
NOTE
HOLD
LTRIGGER
*rtrigger is used for Recovery mode so i didnt implement it*

-Next Release-
Autobooting Combo Button configuration (ex. R+L autoboot)

Do u just copy to ms run and configure the cfg ??

Yeap but make sure to remove any other Cutome FW u have installed. :)

Dammit, I was working on a patch EXACTLY like this...

...O well great work by PSPMAD...

There need to be better patches though to be honest, these auto load with button patches are too much now. Perhaps a custom firmware with more music and video codecs would be better :D

When I'm selecting which eboot I want it to autoboot, should I pick the eboot in the % folder or the other one?

agreed and i like harlyg's v2 custom firmware its my favorite (and becuz i dont really wanne keep flashing my psp) and it would be nice to have more plugins for it like the music and video codecs briggzy mentioned

answering half my own question here...
You do not need to reflash to change button configs...simply edit the config file in the system folder

And what are these custom firmwares doing the very first one isn't? I installed it the day *Dark whatever the heck his name was* came up with the exploit, and it works like a charm.

Dark_Alex's firmware is great however HarleyG's has a better recovery file and menu so if you Brick your PSP, it is much easier to fix :)
