to start off, comparing PC games with game consoles is very hard. the approach of games from each machine is slightly different. I mostly enjoyed playing role playing and sports games in snes, dreamcast, xbox ps 1, 2, 3 and psp. but for pc games I was more attracted to fps, strategy and other online games.
back when I was still young, I enjoyed playing:
breath of fire 3 and 4
final fantasy 7, 8, X, X2, tactics and crisis core
xenogears and xenosaga
jean d' arc (PSP)
magna carta... and the list goes on...
on the other hand, the experience from playing PC games is more thrilling and competitive (since I participated to a lot of international competitions):
counterstrike 1.3, 1.5, 1.6 and source (WCG)
warcraft 3 (DOTA)
rise of nations
uk bingo online - yes it's very addicting, especially when you're winning :D
call of duty 4
half-life 1 & 2
neverwinter nights 1 & 2
well, there's my list and probably that's what I'll be suggesting to other gamers to try. so what would your recommend? :D
