New release from Birdy
RELEASE INFO:
Friendly Flasher (Windows application) for Hitachi drives
Includes Xtreme hack 1.3 for All versions and 2.0 for 46 versions
NEW FEATURES:
- Support all firmware version
- Geremia tweak -> version 1.3
- Greeting windows, you know what version of firmware your flashing
- Upgrade a firmware over an existing xtreme
- Reverse patch without original.bin
- *Customizable firmware : you can select the tweak you need : tray tweak, f900, geremia etc..* see screenshot
- New functions in SCP.
- You can repatch a allready patched firmware (if you change a option)
- Extra tool include : scpcreator.
!!! This tool is for hacker only !!!!, it help to create a new scp file for new firmware revision. You select an original firmware, your modified firmware and than it generate a SCP file auto. No need to use scpcreator to flash your drive !!

Currently I am working on merged version with the F900 (extract
security sectors) and with a Stealth mode. Stay tuned.
Technical details

Security sectors are read in this order:
Reads Xbox 360 security sector from PSN 04FB1F (Layer 0)
Reads Xbox 1 security sector from PSN 605FF (Layer 0)
Reads Xbox 360 security sector from PSN FD021E (Layer 1)
Flashing your drive
-------------------
* This application automatically makes a backup of your firmware and asks for save location.
** Make sure you are flashing over an ORIGINAL image on your drive, if needed first do a RESTORE. Undesired results can be achieved if you flash over a previously flashed image.
- Plug SATA cable from DVD drive to PC
- Power cable drive still connected to Xbox 360
- Ensure drive is in mode b either by two wire trick or slax linux boot cd
- Go to Windows
- Run hitachiflash.exe and if the drive is properly connected it should get detected
- Choose the Action: "Patch or upgrade your firmware with xtreme 1.3 or 2.0"
- Hit go and wait,
- There will be a prompt asking where you want to place the backup of the original
firmware (before patching)
- The flash must start, if some "retry" windows appears hit YES/OUI until finished
- At the end the application will check for 100% so you can shut down the system

Restoring your drive (Do not Requires previously saved Firmware Image)

- Go to Windows

- At the end the application will check for 100% so you can shut down the system
