I own a DS lite. i want to be able to put multiple ds commercial roms onto some kind of card, and then play those games on my ds lite.

I pretty much get the idea and what i need to buy:
-cartridge that goes in gba slot
-memory that is somehow used with the cartridge
-passme type ds card

(correct me if im wrong)
for what i want to do, i need:

card + memory in one (good because i dont have a flash card reader already, right?) : http://www.divineo.cn/cgi-bin/div-cn/nds-gfla4

passme type thing : http://www.divineo.cn/cgi-bin/div-cn/nds-passc

my question is -
with these two things, can i move rom files (including commercial NDS) from my computer onto the G6, put the G6 and passcard into my ds lite, turn on the system and select + play the roms i have on the G6?

also, if you have any advice on what items to get instead of the ones i choose, i would appreciate it.

I've got

MK4 Key and
EZ4 Lite

and they work perfectly doing what you've mentioned above. I can't speak for those products you've mentioned but I'm guessing they work the same.

The ones I have work great for me, I'm a Mac user so the only downside is I have to use Parallels to run Windows to run the EZ4 loader, which will patch the ROM file while loading it onto the memory card. It's a MicroSD card, so fairly standard and with an adaptor you can use it in any number of memory card readers. You get an SD card reader in the kit anyway.

Make sure you get MicroSD, I made the mistake of getting MiniSD but I use it in my camera now.

I think the option I went for is the best (a lot of research here and other forums was needed though) and it fits nearly flush in my Nintendo DS lite. Also supports sleep mode which I think is a bonus over the competition.

Let me know if you need any more help, I know it can be a minefield, so I'll help you as best I can, even with my limited knowledge.

edit: first off i would like to thank you for the help.

ok i was looking at the products you had and was getting even more confused. if i waited a day i could probably recollect my thoughts and understand everything, but who has that much time  .

i found this site which has organized things very well and made bundles, it also seems to have the best prices for US.

can i get what i need from this site? if i get an M3 bundle i will still need a memory reader + a stick, and if i get the G6 i will still need a passcard 3 correct?

last but not least! do ds commercial games run at 100% speed? are there any other problems when playing the ds commercial roms? save problems? anything?

DS roms work full speed with no problems. Only 3 roms don't work with the M3.

It's a pre-order but it's worth the wait

It's the same in all ways as the G6 Lite 3rd Gen apart from the fact it's smaller so I don't know why it costs less.

i was just about set on the G6 lite until i realized its only 512 MB. thats not very many games. i want hundreds of games. so i think it will be an M3 for me.

are the 3 different M3's different sizes? if so, which is the smallest?
